Fundraising stall

Saturday 12th November

In front of Argos, Stowmarket

We’ll be running another fundraising stall in Stowmarket, and also publicising Mack and Mabel. We’d very much welcome donations of:

home-baked goodies, particularly individual cakes (such as cupcakes, fairy cakes etc.), tray bakes and cookies, homemade jams, marmalades and chutneys, any homegrown produce (potatoes, onions or other in season stuff)

We’d particularly welcome anybody who has half an hour or so to spare during the morning to help out on the stall- selling, bartering, publicising etc.

Let any member of the Social Team know if you can help.

SODS Grand Quiz

Friday 25th November

Cedars Hotel, Stowmarket

Doors open 7pm, Quiz begins 7.30pm

£3 per head

Teams can be up to 6 people, but if you don't have a full team, come along anyway and we can make teams up on the night.

Bring your own nibbles, but please note that for this quiz there will be a pay bar available, so please do not bring drinks.

Trip to see 'Round the Twist' by the Eastern Angles

Friday 20th January- 7.45pm

Seckford Theatre, Woodbridge

Tickets £14.50 (hopefully!)

In the absence of the SODS panto this year, we’re running a trip to see the next best Christmas show in Suffolk, the Eastern Angles-

'Round the Twist or Oliver Nickelfield's Bleak Little Tale of Two Mutual Expectations.  And Son.'

This has been a very popular theatre trip for members for a couple of years now.  If you haven't ever seen an Eastern Angles Christmas show, do come along to this one as you will not be disappointed!  If we can get a large enough group together we can take advantage of the group booking price for tickets.
