Hello to all! We hope everyone is well and healthy.
Over the last few weeks, our committee has been discussing the next steps for our society. With the uncertainty over the future, it became necessary to form a rescheduled programme for our upcoming productions.
In our new schedule, we plan to stage HALF A SIXPENCE from 23rd – 27th FEBRUARY 2021 at the John Peel Centre in Stowmarket. This is, of course, depending on the situation surrounding COVID-19, social distancing and government guidelines.
Our musical OUR HOUSE will now move to SPRING 2022 to form part of the programme for our centenary year.
With our pantomime for Christmas 2021 still in place, we are currently exploring options for a production in Summer 2021. Watch this space…
During lockdown (and beyond), we have been keeping busy as a society. A weekly quiz has taken place over Zoom with a wide variety of themes and questions and, happily, a wide range of winners too!
We have also held several virtual play readings, giving our members an opportunity for some fun character work. Among these was a murder mystery in which our participants were required to play detective and sniff out the culprit themselves!
